P.E.I. is Working…Let’s Keep Working
Charlottetown, March 26 – Islanders will be presented with a clear choice on how to best seize the moment of opportunity facing our province and create the brightest future when they head to the polls in the upcoming election.
“This election will be about the future of our province. Together, we have made tremendous progress in our province but we can’t stop now,” said Premier Wade MacLauchlan. “We must keep moving forward – we are experiencing a sense of opportunity like never before in our province’s history and the Liberal team has a vision that will benefit all Islanders, now and into the future.”
The Liberal team joined Islanders from across our province this evening to announce that the provincial election will be held April 23rd.
A strong, diverse Liberal team committed to local issues and provincial opportunities will work on the priorities that matter the most to Islanders – creating job opportunities, offering timely access to quality healthcare, creating an education system that gives opportunities for Islanders to remain at home, and making life more affordable for all Islanders.
“Our team has a clear vision: a future built on a foundation of hard work and opportunity for all Islanders. We can’t go back in time or let this moment pass us by; Prince Edward Island is working…we must keep working,” said the Premier.
The Liberal team understands the fabric of Prince Edward Island and the value of hard work, local representation and getting things done. Over the next month the team will visit communities throughout our province listening to and speaking with Islanders on how we can build on our province’s successes to provide even greater opportunities and prosperity for everyone.
“Our team will present a clear plan on jobs, healthcare, education and affordability that builds on our strong record and that will best deliver a brighter future for Prince Edward Island and generations of Islanders,” said the Premier.
