District 21 Candidate

PAT
MURPHY

District 26
ALBERTON - BLOOMFIELD

There’s nothing like first-hand experience to get a person motivated.

“As many of you will know, I have gone through a difficult health struggle recently. The good news is I think I’ve got it beat – and that fight has made me more determined than ever,” said Pat. “I’ve always really liked the Tom Petty song I Won’t Back Down. Well, I’m not backing down … I’m coming back.”

The main reason for Pat’s offering is his concern about healthcare in West Prince.

“It’s like the Conservatives are trying to starve our hospital instead of figuring out ways to make it better,” said Pat. “I have complete faith and support in our healthcare workers, but they need a government that will work with them to improve the system.”

Pat says his recent health issues may slow him down in campaigning, but he will definitely be around and reachable and is excited at the chance to represent his community again.

Pat was first elected to the Legislative Assembly in the 2007 general election for District 26 Alberton-Roseville. He was re-elected in the 2011 and 2015 general elections. Pat served on numerous standing committees and was Minister of Rural and Regional Development.

“I ask for your support so that we can continue to work together to make a difference in our community.”
