A passionate caregiver and entrepreneur, Nicole Ford has dedicated her life to the service of families and the development of children.

In 2019, Nicole began her entrepreneurial journey by opening her first child care centre, Little Ducklings, in Stratford with her business partner. In 2021, she opened a second centre in Stratford and a before and after-school program. The following year, she opened a centre in Charlottetown.

Nicole has been involved in the pediatric operational group through the IWK as a parent advisor working to strengthen the healthcare systems of Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Nicole has also served as a parent representative on the family advisory committee for the IWK.

A graduate of Charlottetown Rural High School, Nicole earned a diploma in marketing and advertising management from Holland College in 2005. Nicole followed her passion for child development and earned a diploma in early childhood education in 2010. She is pursuing a bachelor of early childhood education at Brock University.

Born in Stratford, Nicole was raised by her mother as an only child in a large extended family. Nicole lives in Ebenezer with her husband and four children.
