A dedicated social advocate, Sandra Sunil strives to enhance the health and well-being of the most vulnerable in the community. Sandra is incredibly passionate about food insecurity, mental health, and inclusivity.

With over 10 years of experience serving her community, Sandra has directed and coordinated several projects in Charlottetown, most notably by establishing the Community Fridge and as president and co-founder of the non-profit 4 Love 4 Care. During the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona, Sandra was active in the community, providing emergency meals to seniors and those living in low-income housing.

Sandra earned a bachelor of science with combined honours in neuroscience and political science from Dalhousie University and a master of public health from Memorial University. Sandra works for PEI’s Department of Economic Growth, Tourism, and Culture.

A Charlottetown resident, Sandra firmly believes that the time is now to build a strong and inclusive future for our Island, our families, and the next generation. Her passion for driving change is rooted in listening, learning, and developing a vision and plan that brings people together to enhance Islanders’ collective quality of life.
