Terry MacDonald has worked as a power engineer and carpenter throughout his career. He also spent time as the manager and person responsible for maintenance for the former Southport Motel. Terry has volunteered over the years with both the air cadets and Red Cross and believes it’s important for people to support their community when they can.

“I am getting involved in this election to help get more attention on having a family doctor and support for seniors,” said Terry. “I’ve had health concerns that I have been lucky to recover from, but I know personally that without access to a family doctor, it’s hard to get the help you need.”

Terry, who grew up in Charlottetown, now lives in Cherry Hill near Mount Stewart.

“Seniors need to be taken care of,” said Terry. “The cost of living keeps rising, but there isn’t more money or programs for seniors to help them deal with this. This government doesn’t seem to care about seniors. It’s hard for a lot of people right now.”

“I’m excited about the healthcare ideas the Liberals are bringing to this election and I look forward to hearing from the residents of District 7.”
