Greg is a marketer by profession, and for the past 12 years he has worked at Holland College as Director of Marketing & Communications. Previous to this he held several positions at the Government of PEI, including Director of Marketing at Tourism PEI (10 years) and Assistant Deputy Minister of Communications PEI (2 years). Greg’s career has been focused on promoting the province to residents, visitors and post-graduate students.

Outside of work, Greg is an avid cyclist, runner and triathlete. Greg has been an active participant and volunteer for running and triathlon events on PEI for over 20 years. He is on the board of Triathlon PEI, a volunteer for Canada Games 2023 as a Sponsor Ambassador and worker at the Biathlon event, a volunteer judge for Crossfit competitions and a former coach at Crossfit Charlottetown.

Greg was born in Charlottetown and lives in District 6 with his wife, Corena Hughes. He is interested in becoming the MLA for District 6 because of his love for Stratford and his belief that his collaboration and communication skills can help make Stratford and the province a better place.
